Ohio's
work force had better take it easy on the job for a while, seeing as
how the Bureau of Worker's Compensation seems to have lost somewhere in
the neighborhood of $10 to $12 million from its "rare coin investment
fund" (full story here and more here).
Small wonder that even the conservative CATO Institute ranks Taft among the lowest of the low when it comes to fiscal accountability.
Looks
like Ohio needs to get creative with an initiative to decrease
workplace accidents until the BWC coffers are full again. My vote
is to institute a three-day work week. How about it?
