I have a 10 gallon glass tank waiting in the wings and I might get that cleaned up and ready by the weekend. I am not sure what it will accomplish to move to a bigger tank, but I am almost out of ideas and I am beyond frustrated.

Beyond frustrated
Well, it's beyond the point of being funny now...In just under 60 days, I have lost a total of 6 fish. Captain Marvel
kicked the bucket last night after only 4 days in the tank. I
took his remains back to the pet store this afternoon and exchanged the dead
fish for a live one. While I was there, I had a water sample
tested from my tank and the pet store guy said that my water looked
fine. No other ideas, no other answers..."He just died," -- that's what
the guy told me.

Mike, this is moving from the "unfortunate" territory into "mass murder" territory. Why don't you just give up on fish, they're useless pets anyway. All our goldfish does all day, is flip its wee flippers, make bubbles with its mouth, then try to eat the bubbles. That's all it does all day. You can't play with it, it doesn't keep you company, you hardly ever remember you've got one. Meh
You might as well get a brick, put it in the tank and keep it as a pet. It'll PROBABLY have a better chance against your killer tank anyway :) Re: Re: Beyond frustrated

Y'know...I could easily blame all this on you for telling me that you had two fantastic goldfish of your own..."Karl" and "Rosa," correct? If you had just told me that you had a pet brick instead, then that would have spared me a lot of agony in the first place!

Have you considered sea monkeys?

Hmmm...I think I see what you are getting at here, Claire...With Sea Monkeys, I could kill off entire families of sea creatures in one fell swoop as opposed to knocking them off one at a time. Very clever.
